How to get your spark back

To my Dear Readers,

I’m sorry It’s been awhile since I’ve written anything on my blog. However, I woke up this morning feeling inspired and i finally decided it was time to start writing again. I realized what was hindering my situation. You see a friend of mine took her life almost 3 months ago and when that happened it took a part of me too, I felt a part of me dissipate during my grieving process and it was hard for me to find things to write about, the things that use to excite me didn’t seem to be exciting anymore. I wasn’t passionate about certain things, I noticed I had shut myself out from the world, i was feeling alone, lost, and slightly confused but I believe this was all part of the grieving process, i must admit the worse part about being in this funk is that you cant control it no matter what you do. Ohh how I wish it would just go away so i could feel normal again but healing takes time especially if one is going through an emotional loss.

So It goes a little something like this …

You have a dream.
Or rather, you had a dream.
In fact, you had lots of them.
But then life happened Bad things happen an you get hurt then sadness and worry creep into your life, sucking that wonderful energy out of you like a leech. So NOW you feel lost,Grey, Uninspired, sometimes heavy. And
You don’t know how to get that spark back. So How do you ignite this? How do you get back ON track and feel normal again. I want fireworks and magic! I want long summer nights and laughing till my belly hurts. I want wonder, passion and excitement!!!
Heck, I won’t even ask for amazing, right now all i want is to feel like the old and happy ME again.
Anything is better than being on a limbo. Right?
BUT I realized, that you don’t have to settle for less. There is always hope – and bucket loads of it.

Since June started, I have been feeling alive again ! Thank god. I can slowly feel my spark coming back and I am ecstatic to start giving my blog some love again. . . (My Poor baby ) 😔 It’s just hard to focus and write about things You love when you are feeling “ out of it “ . But yes, dealing with a loss definitely takes time to heal and to recover but I finally feel at peace with myself and I can’t wait to start sharing my thoughts again so RIGHT now I would like to share some tips on how to get YOUR SPARK back Baby ! Its time to feel alive again !!! 😍

11 tips on how to invite passion and inspiration back into your life YAY ! ☺

1.) Write a love list:

I find this rather enjoying and inspiring! Sit down with pen and paper and make a list of everything that you love. Include all the things you love doing or would love to do, the people you love and the concepts you are passionate about and interested in. Don’t limit yourself.

2.) Do things differently:

Very often, what we most feel like doing is not what would help us the most. So if you’re having low energy – you often feel like hanging out at home, while getting out and doing something would actually be more helpful. The same thing goes for feeling uninspired – we often don’t feel like doing anything. So whatever it is you want to be doing right now – try experimenting with this by doing the opposite. Try doing something you’ve never done before! this will excite and ignite you in more ways than you can imagine.

3.) Loosen up :

Being uninspired and feeling detached often has a physical component, as we very often end up stationary or doing physically slow things. A good way to guide yourself to a better mental state is to do something physical, like dancing, Zumba class, running, hiking – or yoga. Anything that will move and stretch your body will help your thinking become more flexible too.

4.) Do something fun and unusual :

I know you’re not feeling it right now, but there’s nothing like doing something spontaneous when you’re uninspired. Try something you have never tried before like, jump on a bus with some friends and do a spontaneous road trip to a beautiful island, take a surf class, plan a movie night with family or friends, go paint balling or go boxing … and so on

5.) Pump up your creativity :

Even though you might not feel particularly creative, doing something that requires you to stop thinking and start doing is usually a great way of getting inspired. If you need ideas – try writing a blog, or crafting something with your hands. Pinterest is great for getting ideas and feeling inspired as well 😉

6.) Talk about your dreams:

Tell a friend about something you would like to do one day. Try to describe it in as much detail as possible. If you don’t have a friend you can talk to about this, try writing it all out. See if you can reconnect with a dream by thinking differently, or connect with a new dream entirely. You’ll be surprised when the results come 😉

7.) Smile and laugh more:

Smiling and lauging – even faking it – will make you feel happier. I’m not encouraging false laughs here, but if you are feeling low and uninspired, try watching a comedy or hang around people who are funny and love to laugh , or by simply smiling to strangers. This totally works! You might feel goofy, but if that can make you laugh of yourself – even better!

8.) Accept:

It is what it is. And right now you are not in the zone. And that is alright! Just accepting that can make all the difference in the world. It’s like deciding to stop looking for a boyfriend and then suddenly there he is! NOW How awesome would that be !? Haha …

9.) Do what interests you the most:

You might feel like nothing excites you. Like you don’t have anything. But I’m sure there is something in this wide world of possibilities that is more interesting than other things. You don’t have to be wildly in love – just moderately curious. Start there. I enjoy Cooking and baking it’s great therapy for me. I try to do that as much as I can. it’s pretty exhilarating doing the things that you loves. It’s also important for you to grow and be better at things.

10.) Don’t be avoid ant, isolate yourself or over-think:

One of the best pieces of advice someone gave me when I was searching for my purpose and passion was to don’t avoid doing things that need to be done (like paperwork and house hold choirs), don’t isolate yourself by staying in too much, and don’t think too much about what to do, why it’s not working, where to go and so on. In other words; do the work, get out there and spend more time acting than thinking!

11.) Side track :

Sometimes all we need to get back on track is to allow ourselves to be off track for a bit. Take a walk in nature, walk barefoot on the beach, lie down in the grass and feel the earth support you. Relax, and take a break from your day to day routine. It will give you peace of mind and make you feel grateful at the end of the day.

I hope this helps you like it helped me ! Any questions ? Feel free to drop me a message!

Enjoy your weekend everyone ! God bless xx

❤ Besitos ! 💋
