Lamb stew 


Hi guys ! I know I’m horrible , I’ve neglected my blog forever. 😁 I promise to share more of my culinary secrets once I’ve finally set up my own kitchen. 😏

Tonight I made one of my favorite recipes, this dish is called Irish lamb stew. Its simply perfect, for this cold San Fransisco weather!

I’m going to show you a step by step procedure on how to make this irresistible lamb stew ! 👌🏼

You will need these… 

Ingredients : 

3 pounds lamb shoulder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper

1 tablespoon all-purpose flour

2 cloves of garlic

1 large onion, chopped

4 cups chicken stock

3 cups diced carrots

1 large onion, cut into bite-size pieces

3 potatoes

1 teaspoon rosemary

1/2 cup red wine
3 stalks celery
~ feel free to add whatever you would like to add to this stew, remember it’s all about you!

Directions: 

On a medium skillet, add lamb, salt and pepper cook until brown.

Transfer onto the pot.


Add chopped onions and cook for 3 mins then sprinkle the four on top.


Once flour is dissolved add chicken broth, Rosemary, and bring to a boil.


Once it’s boiling add the carrots and celery onto the lamb that’s in the pot, and add your broth mixture.


  

Cover; simmer until lamb is tender, it could take  1  1/2 hours – to 2 hours.  Then add potatoes and wine 30 mins before its done.


Make sure you season it before it’s finished cooking, so it tastes perfect !

Taa- da!  All done ! ❤️  serve with a nice glass of red wine. 🍷
